crushed clay
Uses
Fill a glass bowl (no metal) 3/4 full with crushed Montmorillonite Ventoux clay (for several poultices)
Cover with water: about 1 cm above the clay
Leave to stand for several hours. It is possible to mix the day before the day of use. Do not mix clay and water as this will reduce the absorbency of the clay.
When the clay is ready - it is still grainy but smooths easily by hand, you can place it on a thin cloth, multi-layer paper towel or cabbage leaf and apply it to the area to be treated - skin side down. clay.
Leave for two hours. Renew if necessary. Basic treatments can last several months.
For the application of poultices, start with a thin layer then gradually apply an increasingly thicker layer until you reach 2cm in thickness. Proceeding in stages in the application of the clay allows the body to get used to this therapy and does not provoke a reaction from the body.
Note: a clay poultice can only be used once, it should never be reused.
